Meet Yesterday’s Donuts
Dylan started Yesterday’s Donuts in late 2015 from the ashes of his previous project. After stabilizing the first lineup, we released our first EP, Frankensteined, in 2017. Shortly after, the band was overhauled as we went through the loss of two drummers and a guitarist. Things began to look up when then-bassist Jonathan switched to drums. By July of 2018, we were complete again with the addition of Kelly and Louis on bass and second guitar, respectively. We have since stuck together and released our mini LP “Too Much Noise, Not Enough Space” in 2019, and are currently working on our first full length, yet to be titled.
The biggest struggle in the past without a doubt had been finding dedicated members. But since Too Much Noise, our biggest worry is “where are we gonna play next?”
Most people would say our raucous live shows are the highlight for us. We’re always honing our setlists, switching songs and placements, not to mention we also work on our sick onstage dance moves. Nothing’s more satisfying than playing a show and all four of us agreeing that we killed it. THAT’S what music is about.
It’d be really cool to get signed, sell out the Glasshouse, the Fonda, play a festival or two, open for Thee Oh Sees, meet our heroes (the ones that are alive, at least), tour across the country and beyond, experiment with our sound, alienate our fans, bring in new ones…
