I grew up the youngest of six children in New Jersey. When I was eight years old, I won the “Little Miss Union” talent contest dancing to Whitney Houstons "I wanna Dance with somebody", and my journey into entertainment began. At 12, I was acting in plays at Burnet Middle School. I played Snoopy "Your a good man Charlie Brown" and Doris in "Fame. I was also dancing outside of school and around that time started to train professionally in New York City. My senior year of High School, I won the Rising Star Award for Best Actress in New…
My songwriting partner, Dennis and I didn't necessarily have the intention of starting a band together. Dennis was asked by a friend of his to compose a song for an indie film about 10 years ago, and he asked me if I wanted to collaborate with him on it. We found out that we had really great musical chemistry in the process, so we started writing some songs together for licensing purposes. Ultimately, those songs would eventually become Batfarm songs.
Cats Rule All started the spring of 2012 in Los Angeles. I drew up prints, t-shirts, buttons, and stickers to sell at The Brewery Artwalk. I also sold shadow boxes, paintings, and sculpture relating to cats. After my first show I started making connections with other events around the city where I continued to sell my artwork. I've always been obsessed with cats. My oldest artwork I still possess is an illustration book of the 12 cats I had growing up. Since I've been in LA most of my day jobs have been making props and costumes for music videos,…
I sold my first costume in 2005. Up until then it had just been a life-long hobby. It was a costume I made for myself & someone randomly emailed me asking about it. I was so proud of myself that I started looking for costume work locally in the San Francisco Bay Area. I found an agent advertising her services on Craigslist, so I had my girlfriend take some photos of me dressed up in different outfits I had thrown together & set up an interview. The agent was happy to represent me & I got several jobs in 2006…
Like most artists, my love for singing and performing started when I was a kid. My earliest memories are blasting Motown records in the living room and forcing my family to watch me perform. I’d make the coffee table my stage everyday. There are videos of me teaching my classmates dances that I created on the spot and everyone would follow me like a conga line. I had a lot of artistic interests growing up - dancing, singing, theater, photography. When my father passed, I turned to music as my main escape from the stress - I was around 16…

You could say my fit life started when I was three at the ballet studio. Training, learning and performing into high school gave me a foundation of dedication -- until it ran out. But, when I DID go back after getting married and having my beautiful little girl, I went full force. Maybe a little too much. Gym life, the stress from work, overtraining and undereating put me in a strange fitness holding pattern. I wasn't sure where to go from there or how to get out of the plateau. I did know that I needed to do something though.…
I've been singing since I was a little kid. I was born in Florida, so of course I started singing Disney songs as soon as I could string a sentence together. Music has always been a major part of my life. Although oddly enough, I didn't learn to read music until recently, which is really counter productive. I definitely wish I did that sooner. I always relied on my ear to pick up melodies and harmonies. I was fortunate enough to work for Disney World and Universal Studios in Orlando where I performed in several shows, including an a cappella…
I started music when I was only five years old. At the age of five began playing drums, then later became interested in piano at about age 14. I was always really into to singing and imitating main-stream r&b artist as a kid, but artists such as Usher and Chris Brown inspired me to create my own pieces of music.

After many years in the commercial real estate industry, I began my second career as a freelance writer in 2008. Every article I submitted was accepted and ran in a variety of local, regional and national publications. It took me two years to accept the fact I would never make a living wage writing freelance, so I went online looking for a position as a staff writer. I was hired as a Los Angeles General Recreation Examiner with Examiner.com. Every article I wrote featured recreational activities in the South Bay of Los Angeles (where I live), and after six months,…
As strange as it may seem, my journey in Cinema started from being a Civil Engineering student back home in Iran. Over my undergraduate studies, I started watching movies more seriously and I found my passion for storytelling. Especially, the works by Stanley Kubrick and Jean-Pierre Jeunet captured my attention. I vividly remember the first time I watched Clockwork Orange. I was mesmerized by the visuals and Kubrick’s point of view towards human psychology. From that moment, I realized that I want to be a part of filmmaking world. Thus, I decided to change my career from engineering to filmmaking.…
