When I was 8 months pregnant with my second child, I was preparing divorce paper. Thousands of emotions surrounded my broken heart. The situation was giving to me, not against me. I started to get inspired to help others. Years later I proudly attained my Life Coach and Master Life Coach Certification and started my company, Ocean Soul Life Coaching.

I was born and raised in Sydney Australia and my parents are from Hong Kong. I'm what is considered an ABC (Australian Born Chinese) So growing up was a little confusing seeing as I didn't relate to my Chinese heritage and I didn't look like the typical Australian Sports and Dance are what helped me find my identity I started dancing when I was 14 years old in High School. There were 2 guys at my school who I saw doing backflips off the wall and breakdancing on the grass. I thought they were SO cool and they were happy…

I started theater when I was a kid, then I moved to the USA and started working as an actor in film and television.
I grew up in Quetzaltenango, the second city of Guatemala. I started in music as a self-taught guitarist when I was about 16 years old and eventually interest in film scoring grew in me while I was in college studying Communication Sciences and it became a dream. Finally 3 years ago, with a university degree and 27 years on me I decided to follow my dream and moved to Hollywood to study film scoring at Musicians Institute. I stayed and now I work as a composer and sound editor in the South Californian film, tv, gaming scene.

I started when I was just 8 years old doing professional local and regional musical theater in my hometown of Denver, Colorado. I had always been obsessed with singing and being on a stage was my safe place away from the community and peers with whom I never fit in. During that time, I performed in over a dozen productions and appeared in several national commercials for Ford, McDonald's, and more. When it came time for college, I received a scholarship from Berklee College of Music for Songwriting (among others), but decided to move to LA instead. I was 18…

I came to Los Angeles in September 2018, full of hopes and dreams about my new life as an actress in Hollywood. I had spent almost a year preparing for this transition, working hard, saving up money, and then I was finally here! And my first 9 months were amazing! I went to acting school, the New York Film Academy, had great classes and amazing classmates. I also got to shoot a lot of short films during that time - so life was amazing. Of course I missed the stage. Before, I had been working as a musical theater actress,…

In the middle of this planetary pandemic Dave América just released his first EP `Postcards to Mixxxx´. This EP is composed of 5 punk rock songs soaked in melancholy where he sings about long lost love and cats. Times when he stole cars with Maria, Matilda or Martha just to make out in the backseats. Times when he drank the night away... `Postcards to Mixxxx´, like the best books by Jack Kerouac, was written in the journey from West Coast to East Coast and back again: Written in LA and recorded in New York. Dave América talks in this EP…

My journey in LA started back in 1993 (whoa) I came out here from Littleton Colorado with stars in my eyes, and threw my hat into the acting ring. I had a good run up until 2010, when life knocked me on my ass. Coming out on the other side of my struggles, I was gifted a camera from a long time friend. After looking at it in the box for 4 months, I finally worked up the nerve to pick it up and start learning. The past year has been a jam packed course on photography and photoshop. Thank…
