Meet DeLonda Owens-Tucker of The Wise Wife
The youngest of 6 children, born and raised from Milwaukee, Wisconsin daughter to Christian parents. My father is a Pastor and my mother served faithfully alongside of him. As a young woman, my mother believed in always giving back and philanthropy. I spent countless days and hours with her helping others and families. as I grew older I helped her a lot with her women’s ministry. I believe that gave me my 1st look into what my future would be like. I became a single unwed mother at the age of 22 something that was comp’d shunned on due to my faith. This would be become the long road and journey to finding myself. After many failed relationships and 2 failed marriages, I decided to completely focus on the woman I wanted to become. I endeavored to try to heal many of the broken areas in my life, love myself and maybe love again.
It was not a smooth road but life rarely smooth. After many disappointments, loss, and hurts I wanted to be whole so I made sure I did heal and thoroughly. After many years I finally met the love of my life. We dated and were friends for a few years then got engaged and married. It was this love that inspired me to branch out and start my own organization “Healthy Relationships” which is now “The Wise Wife”. I became a Certified Christian Marriage and Professional Life Coach to endeavor to help as many wives and wives-to-be and singles tap into the power that resides in them.
I offer individual one-on-one coaching and counseling for Wives, Wives-to-be and Singles. I do Pre-Marital Counseling, Online Courses, and Image Courses. What sets me apart, is I help women realize the power they were unaware they possess. I just help them identify it and utilize it.
I am most proud of overcoming so many relational obstacles to now enjoying a very fulfilling life. I am proud to be an outward example that you too can have and enjoy life and love again after so much loss and pain.
I define success as not just having tangible things (homes, cars, money) although that is needed I define it by having the intangibles (good character, integrity, being rich in love and in all your relationships) is important to me. Literally at the end of our lives no one will wish they worked more! They want to spend more time with whom they love and cherish.
