Meet Jasmine Navarro
I started out wanting to be a lawyer and had my mind dead set on it since middle school. As I started college and gained more interest in my core classes I loved my PR I class. I talked to a law school advisor at my school about switching my major from political science to public relations. I would bring a different skillset to law school. While staying out among my peers. I still interned with a law office and working with a local Congressman campaign. However, looking back at it. I was more interested in their lifestyle. Being their own boss and working directly with their clients. That’s probably when I had it made up in my mind I’m working for myself. I didn’t act upon it til last year. Nevertheless, I started. At the right time might I add during my corporate internship and before the pandemic crushed the job market. Now I help small businesses build on social media and I work for myself.
Not at all. Being a new, young, and still in school entrepreneur has produced many struggles. But it didn’t stop me. More than anything it made me do better. Go harder for what I wanted. I am learning from each struggle I know I will face many, but that can all be a crazy chapter in my book.
