I’m originally from Hawaii and moved to the South Bay about 11 years ago. My family had a liquor store that had space in the back for a take out restaurant. We gave it a try and it blew to something a lot bigger than we ever imagined. From that location we open two other locations and I partnered in a brewery. I spent more than a decade in the corporate/technology world, and I took on every job as though it were my own business. This dedication and drive helped me rise to leadership roles among some of the top marketing technology companies, managing multi-million dollar online marketing budgets for companies such as Twitter, Proctor & Gamble, and Microsoft. I loved it… but I knew that ultimately, this wasn’t my deepest path. I wanted more freedom and fulfillment. And I knew that I could serve bigger.
Coming from a Southeast Asian background, I always accepted things like reincarnation and talking to spirits. As I got older, my love of the metaphysical expanded to include everything from yoga and meditation to astrology and personal development. I cultivated my own daily practices, attended seminars and worked 1:1 with respected spiritual teachers and mind-body healers. Fast-forward to 2014: I found myself at a crossroads. The company I worked for at the time was being acquired, and I had the opportunity to move into a bigger role. But something inside of me knew it was time to make a change. I worked with a career coach, took every assessment and aptitude test I could find, and consulted my team of spiritual advisors (which included astrologers, tarot readers and intuitive).
Today, I combine my expertise in online marketing with my love of the intuitive arts to help established experts, coaches, and educators bring their life’s work online – so they can serve bigger. In the past 5 years I’ve helped my clients launch highly successful online programs and schools – changing the lives of thousands of participants from around the world and generating multiple seven figures in revenue. My name is Matthew Rumble and I’m a filmmaker, editor, and photographer from the bay area, CA. I am just 18 but I’ve launched several online businesses/projects over the past couple of years. I got started when I saw people on YouTube becoming successful making videos they enjoyed. It was still pretty new to see people make a living off of YouTube but I decided to go for it. I would upload videos with my iPhone and share vlog-style videos going through my day in a unique perspective. I would also make different cinematics as I got more comfortable editing. I spent the last 5 years learning and constantly stepping up my editing skills which are all self-taught. I also used to film videos to make others laugh in my school and try to collaborate with them to gain popularity not only on my channel but in school. At one point every teacher and even the principal knew about my channel. Since then I’ve created my own videogames/apps, merchandise, website, photography Instagram, and YouTube. I now have around 18,000 subscribers on YouTube and 3,000 on my Instagram where I showcase my filmmaking, photography, drone cinematics, vlogs, and tutorials to help others starting out. I started my YouTube career doing cinematics and travel films constantly creating the best videos I can. I’ve made apps and videogames as well which I learned on my own to create and presets for photography. I have an app on the android store and I’m working on some other 3d FPS games learning from YouTube tutorials. I love working in online businesses and filmmaking new adventures. I’m a really self-motivated person and love finding new perspectives on films. I believe that story and bringing the viewer in is important when creating any travel film. Sound design and smooth transitions with amazing visuals are all pieces I try to incorporate in all my videos. Continue Reading Meet Matthew Rumble of Emojimatt

The name Shape Pitaki was born from the toddler next door who said “Shape” instead of “Shane” and “Pitaki” when attempting to say “Detective” in “Last Chance Detective”. Kids say the darndest things! Greg Johnson (bass) and I had played together in bands for quite a while and he suggested that we start a band using the songs that I’ve written over the years. Being a kickass drummer, I decided, “Yeah, Dave Grohl did it, why not me?” Since I took the helm up front singing and playing guitar, we had to rifle through a few drummers until we found our honeydew, Mike Willson. We released our first LP “Lonely This Is” in 2014 and played numerous shows all over Southern California to support it. We released the EP “Let’s Get Gnarly & Chill” in 2017 with a music video for our single “Can’t Go Home” and a tour up and down the West Coast with a couple runs out to Austin, TX for SXSW. We’re ramping up for our next release, aptly titled, “Let’s Get Gnarly & Die” during this very mellow and not insane year of 2020. Continue Reading Meet Shane T of Shape Pitaki
I am a huge fitness enthusiast and it has always been a huge passion of mine since starting on my journey in middle school. I fell in love with weightlifting in the 8th grade, it became my sanc·tu·ar·y and place of peace. In the 8th grade my father set up his old school weight bench for me and showed me some essential movements to get me started. My father, Keith Stahl worked a few years at a health club in his early years. After gaining muscle I began playing football, nowadays I enjoy Flag football on the weekends and Pittsburg Steelers games.
I then studied Kinesiology Movement Science at the Pennsylvania State University also known as Penn State or PSU. After graduating, I packed up my car and embarked on a cross country road trip. I was moving to Southern California to pursue my dreams in the fitness industry. I touched down in Venice Beach California where I started training at the world famous Mecca of Bodybuilding. I really enjoy helping people with their fitness goals so I continue to offer my skillset to though in need. Continue Reading Meet Nick Stahl of unSTAHLable
I started writing music and experimenting with different sounds when I was about 12 years old. My mom and grandparents got me a set of drums and I would sit in front of MTV all day creating beats. I started performing once I got into middle school. I had many solo performances and used those to also work on my singing and harmonizing.
My first release was during my first year of college. I went to the studio and recording this rnb song and mixed it with pop elements. Once I dropped on SoundCloud, boom the song was a hit. Continue Reading Meet Fitch Means
My name is Rommel Villa. I grew up in the beautiful land of Bolivia. Mythology, traditions, poverty, corruption, and family values were part of my everyday life. My interest in storytelling started when I was a kid, creating fictional stories about my family having superpowers, fighting poverty, and corruption in a world populated by magical dinosaurs and llamas. I grew up writing/directing award-winning plays based on social issues I learned at PASCAR, a social organization that educates young adults in HIV/AIDS misconceptions, and LGBTQ+ advocacy. At 18, I served in the military for a year in Bolivia, which was one of the most traumatizing experiences in my life due to the sexist and discriminatory environment.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, and an MFA in Film/TV Production at USC with an emphasis in Writing/Directing. In the last few years, I won a Directing stipend from Lionsgate-Televisa’s Latinx filmmaker program, received a USC filmmaker grant which funded my award-winning LGBTQ+ thesis film Teddy Mate, which was an official selection at many Oscar Qualifying festivals, and last year I won a Writing/Directing Grant from the Sloan Foundation which funded Sweet Potatoes, my historical film which is a Winner at the 2020 Student Academy Awards.
I’m currently working in the Post Production department at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, where I also teach Motion Picture Editing while working on my own independent projects on the side.
